Single player still pointless and broken!?

Don't come on here that often so it's probably a well know issue but I can't believe that the Nano catalysts glitch still has not been resolved.
You work your arse off collecting catalysts only to find on your next play that they have been put into -figures so you have to work twice as hard just to get back to where you were.
Isn't the point of a reward system to reward your efforts not put you off playing at all!
This should have been fixed weeks ago!

I tried today and the more points I collect but don't spend turn negative at the next checkpoint after quitting and reloading so there's absolutely no point playing!

play through anyway because you can get 20000 nano points right at the end, can't believe they didn't fix that though in fact the only thing i found that the patch fixed was getting stuck after respawing in multiplayer

nano catalyst are very easy to get. Yes the glitch is annoying, but can easily be rectified by playing the last few chapters over

I like the feeling I haven't missed anything, kind of a perfectionist.
Having my saved points turn negative makes me feel dirty.
I wanna get to the end knowing I have got every reward possible and have that sense of completion, wish it didn't bother me but it does.

Was kinda hoping that was the case, I just find it hard to believe that they haven't fixed it.
What exactly are they doing other than counting all our money?

Read every other thread in this forum and you'll find everyone is asking the same question. Even if there not going to admit they cocked up in some area's, contact with the community is very slim. What would be better is if they post one announcement every week saying right these are the problems ( show patch list) and this is what stage we are at in fixing them, at least then people could see that progress is being made instead of not hearing anything for a few weeks and then getting an announcement saying the patch has been released.

The last patch was released and basically didn't fix any problems we had no announcement to say look were sorry it didnt work we'll do some hot fixes to resolves minor issues while you wait again for the next patch. If i was community manager then i would actually do my job and keep everyone up to date even with the reasons why the last patched failed, people make mistakes and a simple sorry would calm most of the community.

I only started noticing this when I began using mission select when I was finishing up the collectibles. Its as if the save for that mission knows how much nano catalyst you had at that time, however when you go back to re-do a mission you still have all of your modules and so the game adjusts your catalyst amount to take into consideration the 'new' modules you have bought since that save point, hence the reason you go -ve?

i think its actually just a minor coding error that should be easily fixed, zeros and ones possitive and negative one in the wrong place most prob

I got all of the nanosuit upgrades by playing through once and then replaying a few levels in the second half of the game. I completely agree it's a mind-blowingly stupid bug that the coders should be embarrassed about, but it's not game-breaking.

Honestly though how much effort would it take for them to acknowledge these small problems on here and let us know exactly what is being worked on just to give us peace of mind.
Instead we get something that looks like it was copied straight out of the community managers hand book, Im sure they are working hard on the next patch but I'm also sure they worked hard on the first patch and that fixed nothing so it wouldn't hurt to give us some reassurance and maybe restore our faith.
Alternatively they could remain silent and we could all moan on here for months to come.
