MESSAGE TO CRYTEK
Really nice to read all the support guys :)

Also agreed in regards to stereotyping of games now. Every game has copied another game in one way or another. It's whether or not they expand and improve on said features that makes all the difference. Crytek have done exactly that, judging by footage/info released thus far.
I miss Goldeneye.
If it copies MW2, I don't really care, as long as it has one feature the CoD franchise currently doesn't.
Balance.

I feel that Hard core COD fanboys as a whole always want to compare every game to COD, and that COD is always the benchmark every developer should strive for? Personally, this thinking or attitude is not fair to the many good games that actually try to make a difference. Maybe just mabye we should not compare every new game to COD and let it stand on it own merts for a change.

It seems hard core COD fanboys gives new games two choices: i) You are not COD game so I will not be buying it OR ii) You are alot like COD and you are ripping off COD so I will not be buying . What choices????

I go to many forums and no matter what forum I go to somone always compares a new game say like Crysis 2 or Brink to COD. So my question is...What is the point behind this? Simple....we cannot make everygame like or the same as COD. COD is COD and Brink is Brink, and Crysis is Crysis...we should just face the fact that every game is different (or should be different). I do agree that every game developer copies some ideas and implements in their own game...this is of course I like to call free world and its great to have competition. Competition is in one way or another called progress and gamers are the big winners in the long run.

I conclusion, if every game was or like COD it would be a very very boring gaming world and personally I would be giving my my xbox 360 and doing something else. Thank God hardcoe COD fans aren't running the gaming industry. :)

The only problem with mw2 was that they didn't properly balance the huge amount of variety that the game has. The overpowered guns, killstreaks, perks and very low health broke the game but its still one of the best games ever made.
If crysis 2 will actually put in the elements of mw2 multiplayer in their multiplayer,i think, it will be a good thing but only if they mange to balance them.
The problem with very low health seems not to be a problem from the footage i've seen so far, and i seriously doubt that crytek will make the same mistakes that mw 2 made.
For a game thats 6 mounths from realease it looks great and hopefully when the game comes out it will look even better

The health is exactly the same as CoD1,2,3,4,5.
It's the weapons having higher rates of fire mainly.
I sure hope so. Its too early to judge about that yet. We will have to wait until the xbox360 beta is released to see how things are balanced out.
Hopefully we get it soon. Im dying. Hopefully EA announces more at TGS, they said they got several announcements. If I hear nothing on this at TGS hopefully something on Cryteks other Project, Codename Kingdoms. Still think a fantasy 300 inspired game would be great.

tbh i would take the mp as it is now :). and as loads of ppl mentioned above, just beecause it has ranks or killstreaks, people instantly think it just a copy of CoD. how can anybody compare this to CoD as Crysis 2 looks so much better? :D

im just at home from gamescom in kolonia and i have to say, there are some similar things to cod, but with the ultimate weapon (the nano-suit) there are much more things u can do, and u have to do them, if u wanna win!
i played the demo 20 times, because its just fun! People who say the game gets slow and boring just seen the demo on the conference (most of the guys there couldnt play) :P or have to play like this to sshow the public some things.
of course there are still some mistakes and so on but hey its only a demo!
in reality the game is much faster and very tacticall! Now i cant wait for the game!
Let crytek do what they think! At the moment its going to get great!
:D
sorry for my bad english :P

Crysis 2 Multi-player feels nothing like MW2, CoD or any other MP game out there, once you get your hands on it you will see.

March is so far away..... ;)

Really, that's good to know. You guys are taking some Call of Duty features and improving and expanding on it, which should make for a kickass game if its balanced right. :P Then you have the Nanosuit which keeps the gameplay and gunplay unique at the same time. I can't wait...
