Game has been installed. When I click PLAY -- nothing happens. Its almost like its missing an executable file or something. No logon screen, nothing. I even spoke to EA support. Nothing yet. My laptop is an ASUSG73JH. Played Crysis and it worked fine. Loaded demos works fine. Cannot figure out this at all. Please help. I know someone out there has an answer for me. The installation process was completed with NO ERRORS. Am I missing something?

This is insane. I can play it after installation, then I put the PC on sleep mode. Wake up the next day, can't even start Crysis 2, no error messages, nothing, just the loading circular thingie at the tip of my mouse for 1-2 min then it kinda stop loading all together.

Exactly What is happening to mine. I even downloaded Steam Multiplayer demo and it worked fine. Is it drivers, or just a false game? I dont know but something is wrong and i would like an answer.

Ok so heres whats up: I had this same problem and nothing fixed it, but today I did 2 things (not sure which was the solution): I got the latest update for vista and I completely UNINSTALLED AVG FREE, I had disabled it yesterday but it still wouldnt work. One of those two is the solution to your problem (probably).

AVG Free **** up crysis, and the demo for that matter, bigtime. I completely removed it manually by editting the registry and unlocking it's files.... it wouldn't let me get rid of it all Not sure if it worked because I started reinstalling Crysis 2 aswell.

already chat with EA support, disable firewall, disable antivirus then do a clean boot nothing happened, no changes at all

Ok, i found the solution. Well now i have another problem. I uninstalled AVG free. It booted up fine, then when i was playing, my laptop over heats a lot and so it shut off. When i came back on it Froze on loadup. It didnt even go through the Crytek and stuff, just froze with a Eye in the middle.

That happens to me like every time I start up. I just minimize and maximize a couple time and it works.

I've just started with the same problem. I had absolutely no problems Tuesday. Didn't have any this morning. I come home from work, and an underwhelming nothing. I wish I could at least get an error message, but it only blips onto the task manager than disappears.
