I think the problem with multiplayer these days.....

Just as a personal opinion, they add WAY too much features. I feel like I'm straying away from the objective and focusing too much oh how im going to use my suit abilitites. Or which perks would be best, should I use a scope? I dont really care, I just want to jump in and have fun. I feel like with multiplayer games these days, I just cant do that. MW2, BlackOps, Crysis 2 (I only game PC btw). Why cant companies look into what made MP games so great, and learn from amazing mp games (which I still play to this day) such as UT, Quake, Counter Strike. The biggest thing I love about these older games is how simple they are, and for some reason I feel like they are the funnest games I have ever played. Those games truely test my skill....

cannot really blame them for trying to bring something new to the table . but it's true that I get pretty ridiculous , back in the day , it was about quick reflex , quick thinking , listening to footsteps , team play . now its all about perks and calling a plane to get 10 easy kills .

But in my book , nothing will ever compare to Counter-strike when it come to skill play . I mean , you didn't need ranks to see who was good at game , you just knew it . except for AWP , hate the dam thing .... ( I believe that anything which require 1 bullet hit in the foot to kill should never exist )

I agree about Counter Strike, its probly the hardest game to get good at. Because every single aspect of the game comes down on your skill level. (seriouly, anyone who wants to try a real MP game, try Counter Strike)

Its just a shame that companies are taking the (omfg lets put everything we can in this game) and are ignoring the simple fundimentals of MP gaming. I kinda feel that companies are reaching out to little kids these days. OMFG COOL PERKS, THIS GAME ROCKS LOLOLOLOLOL

on the contrary, i like my games to be rather deep. that being said, i feel call of duty style multiplayers are anything but deep.

I just feel simplicity takes away everything bad between the gamer and the game.
In Crysis 2, one seems to go for the objective, sum do, but most dont. All they want to do is collect does dog tags and send they ceph ship to rack up kills.
Counter Strik,e is by far one of the most simplest game out there, and almost EVERYONE's goal is the objective
