I pre-ordered my edition of Crysis2 LE a while back, got the cash and am waiting anxiously !

The LE has allot of advantages coming into the game, especially having enough XP to already have unlocked the 5 preset classes and also the hologram decoy attachment.

Do you think this will be a huge advantage in the MP ranking and the first months of MP ? Will people who get the normal edition be outgunned and outplayed ?

no i don't think they get out gunned at all ..Reson for this is it will put u to Rank 5 with a few Extra classes sniper and stuff but a rank 1 to peole who do not have the LE would probaly have 2 two 3 classes avalible and would beable to kill u just aswell, only way i can see them being outPlayed is by the hologram decoy but it must have a time limit and a reload time ......so i dont think people who do not have the LE will not get outguned and out played

I sincerely doubt that ownership of the limited edition will allow anyone to outplay anyone else. By appearances, the first few ranks people get should put them on par with the LE owners quite quickly, or at most only slightly behind, at least for their personal style of gameplay. Also, most people playing in the first 2-3 days will be playing on LE most likely, and after a few days, those first players will have an edge on anyone regardless of edition. And yes, I preordered anyway.

Added + Crytek would do it because it you were to get outgunned and outplayed thed have to have a begginer server and a and Rank 5+ server or have 50 day's to paly in begginar server then u move on to more advanced server maybe no? well if you were to get out gunned then alot of people who do not have the LE would not play MP because of dieing over and over ...then crytek would lose alot of player's so there Stat's of the game would drop prices would go down and not many sail's and people would be quit mad

YOU GUYS ARE RIGHT, obviously SKILL has the most part in any FPS. I was talking more specifically of the extras the LE brings. I dont know about you guys but i have not heard or seen anything indicating how much gameplay is needed to get to the level the LE puts you at.

I am going to jump right into MP and get a head start on the rankings. hopefully a real good ranking system !

the LE put u at 5 but im not sure how much ep is needed to rank up to 2 ,3,4,5 Ect... but im sure its not to hard because then it would be overkill

My assumption would be that people with no rank start off with at least one of the classes available, most likely the assault class. They will have some form of decent weapons available, and will be able to grab weapons off the ground, evening things out quite nicely. Obviously they don't intend to stick some random naked guy into the middle of a nanosuit scrap with a sharpened pool cue.

I didn't think about dedicated servers and matchmaking system !

how was the matchmaking system in crysis mp ?

i dont relly know if there was enan one because i am on dail up soo u..hopefully i will have highspeedinternet befor c2 come's out but i did play 1 on 1 in C1 was awsome!

Most PC gamers prefer to have dedicated servers, and once they find one they like, they tend to stick with it.

I am one of thos ppl. On Crysis Wars i always stick on the NoobHunters server cause they quite good and usually almost full on 24/7 Steel Mill Team Instant Action. And there 24/7 Mesa Power Struggle. They both good servers.

Just like any other PC game, although the friends list and chat functions tab were rather pointless because you could not join their server automatically, you had to hunt it down and use 3rd party software like Xfire and Ventrilo to either get the IP Address or have them tell you the name of the server they are in.

The server list was fine (dedicated server list, also had quick match so you don't have to search), but the friends and chat functions were severely limited, which makes 3rd party programs a popular choice for Crysis players.

hopefully the console version will have a well made matchmaking system integrated with the friend list !

This Limited Edition will give you a leg up, no doubt, for sure, but the only deciding factor will be SKILL.

This will get many users way out classing some of the L/E owners, Play style, experience and so on are all the deciding factors, in rank /sore escalation.

good thing for consoles is that everyone is new to the game !

I believe PC players who get the consoles version will only have a feel for it but will still need to change to controller !
