How many nanosuit modes ?

Post » Sun Jul 11, 2010 10:12 am

OK I'm a bit confused. I know there have been some posts related to this already. But how many modes are there for the nano-suit 2.0 ?
I know there is predator mode and the other one (with armor and strength) - i think. But does that mean those are the only two modes you can access or will you still be able to switch on individual modes as well - like armor, strength, speed and so on ?

Okay, there are 2 modes now, Armor and Stealth, They are activated by Q and E.
But don't worry, Power and Speed are always on by default, and running fast no longer costs energy, as well as jumping.
There is also a third 'Mode' Called Tactical mode, I don't know how it's activated.
Armor mode now makes you invincible, but drains energy like cloak.
Also, the armor effect of draining energy when you get shot is now on by default.
Hope this helped.

If you watch the videos, you only ever see 2 modes being used.

Armour and Cloak mode are activated from the shoulder buttons on a GamePad, or Q & E on a Keyboard. We cant really know for sure though until a full trailer explaining the Nanosuit 2 comes out.

On the configs at Gamescom Q & E were used for Amor/Stealth modes as they are extremely important abilities and in this sense are pretty similar to a gamepad in terms of having them at your finger tips.

This is not set in stone though so it could change before release.

The suit is gonna be customizable, so you'll be able to combine different powers into your own modes.
