@Crytek Fix PC Multiplayer

Post » Thu Jul 15, 2010 10:57 pm

I payed 60$ for a "run down the hallway and watch cutscenes" single player experience that was promised to be "significantly longer" than the average FPS. I finished the game in a little under 6 hours.

Now I want to play multiplayer, but lo and behold, it doesn't work! The same damn issue that was there during beta (yes, beta, not the demo, nobody makes demos unavailable) is still here. This is a ridiculously under par product. I can't understand EA rushed Crytek to launch this but come on... I'm not even going to get into the whole DX11 issue.

Anyways, please acknowledge the issue and give us an ETA on when it can be fixed! Its bad enough we can't get a refund on a faulty product, its worse that the only issues you seem to be working on are stuff like "I can't change my username, OH NO!"

it just annoys me that one of the Crytek team members got on Steam forum and was defending the game about how long it is and how polished it is.

Yay, its so fun to listen to a Hans Zimmer composition while waiting to join a server... you can listen to the entire score before you manage to play a single game :D

Its funny you should mention that but I can not open anything else besides the game. In other words when I Alt Tab, or task manager out, and open either IE8 or Opera to go online, nothing connects. I get the no connection error message on both.

As I said this is when I have the MP screen open. Strict game.
