Dear Crytek,

Here's what happened. I was going to the store to get my retail of the Crysis 2 Limited Edition. I logged in, used my code etc. (not my redeem code yet) and after playing several hours on singleplayer I thought it'd be fun to play some multiplayer, since all my friends say it's so good. I activated my redeem code and tried to join a game. Then I was so fortunate to get the lovely message "Serial Code Already In Use". So what this basically means is that I can't get online. Dear Crytek please help my with this unfortunate happening that occurred to me. In regards, I will show my part and not try to get my 50€ back.

I apologize on forehand if this thread already exists. But I am to pissed right now.

Little update, I just got myself to log in? Is this Crytek that fixed it? Or did my hacker log off?

Its actually a bug, I had the same issue on launch day. It seems to have stopped on its own.

hi, i am a french player so sorry for my bad english speak but i have the same probleme, i have buy this game on steam.

I had the same issue, but i tried enter the serial code before I logged in. When you've done that, it should show you the last 4 numbers / characters of your serial code. It might help you, but I'm not sure.
I can join the servers now, but it wont start though. Always get stucked on
"Match is starting in: 1..........1............1.............1..........."
Hope this will get fixed very soon.

I just started running Crysis 2 this morning and no luck at all: "serial code is already in use". I tried entering it before I logged in on the game log in page, and after I logged in, because the game keeps asking me, and still the same thing: "serial code is already in use".

The limited edition should've given day 3 advantages, not day 1...

Gonna play Minecraft too.

Guess what, got the same issue...

It keeps asking me for the code EVERY GOD DAMN TIME.
When I try to connect to one of the servers it keeps telling me my serial code is already in use.

Probably should mention I bought the game VIA STEAM.

This is a horrible way to start a new game in my honest opinion...

The solution is to type in all lowercase and NOT use dashes like the game asks you. Do this and you'll be set. It's a stupid bug.
