PC graphic settings (pick 1 of 3) = Completely unacceptable

Crytek is meant to be the "customise and show of your rig off" king... there are 3 options for graphics..... and no one even had the decency to write a description of the differences!!!!!

This combined with the lack of DX11 and the selection of poor textures even at 'extreme' are just unacceptable.... and thats before the COD pacing.

I hope your console game sells like mouldy cup cakes and you go back to your routes... hell Cryengine is going backwards!

Crysis 2 is not a **** benchmark, it's a video game first. You're in the wrong place if you want to splooge all over your monitor over how amazing your computer is because you spent 4000 dollars on it.

Even so, 3 graphical settings is nothing, its unacceptable! Every PC game out there has the abbility to customize a little more. 3 settings, seriously! I want to adjust my AA, AF, shaders, blur, lightning, shadows etc...

If it is that important to you, you should try looking around the forum a little bit.
Check this tool out: http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=12953
It is not Cryteks official software but looks promising...

The reason they don't let you do that yet is because they don't want you finding more bugs than they need. You'll eventually get a better options window. Look up the console commands to edit your settings that way, they released it like 2 days ago... google it. You'll probably get to mess with stuff once it turns into DX11.

I have no rush, I just think its kinda stupid. For now I will just try to enjoy the game, I can optimize later when I start playing MP.

The commands are really easy, it's like cv_FOV = 75 [] on the console and it changes the Field of View. There's also shadows, lighting, reflection, textures etc. It's not a huge list.
