Unstable website (gamesas.com)

Post » Tue Jul 27, 2010 11:50 pm

You guys need to set an htaccess or host panel level redirect from gamesas.com to http://www.gamesas.com. The reason is when you (or at least for me) access gamesas.com all you get is "gamesas.com is up and running ".

Half of your problem is you're using Drupal. What were you thinking? Please switch the community Joomla.

FireFox, was working fine but 1 day ago. Perhaps if hosting was moved would result in my DNS out of date. Also attempting to reply gave me the following.

An HTTP error occurred while getting:

http://www.gamesas.com/forums/posting.php?mode=quote&f=23&t=13296&p=171642

Details: "Unable to contact target server after 1 tries.".

I'd like to recommend again switching to Joomla. If community is the concern you've Kunena for the forums (much more powerful then what you have now) and Community Builder for the social aspect. At least then you'd have a working website. I'm a web developer and if you intend to take my suggestion and migrate I'd consider donating some time over the coming weekend as do not work weekends.
