Firstly im a bloke in his 30's whos been playing games since the good old C64 back in the 80's.
I bought crysis 2 last week by trading in a handfull of my 360 games at my local Tesco(Tesco gave me £30,GAME offered me £9 the cheapskates).
Crysis 2 is the only game that has ever nearly made me cry from dissapointment,i bought it for multiplayer to give COD and others a rest.
The first hour just put a lump in my throat the size of a lemon,i tried to make myself like it,i couldn't,i want to like it but i cant.
Multiplayer didnt live up to the hype for me,the campaign on the other hand is fantastic which just about saves the game from deletion.
I will NEVER trade in games ever again.

Is there anything in particular you don't like about it? I found this to have a somewhat steep learning curve personally and I didn't start really having fun with it for a couple hours or so in. I've got about 15 hours in MP now and I'm completely hooked.

If you're having connection issues, that's just frustrating and I can understand not wanting to even bother carrying on with the game. Most of the matches I play are pretty good and don't lag, but I get the occasional laggy game that is just unplayable and it's pretty rough. I just move onto to another game if that ever happens. Seems like that's all some people get though. I feel for them.

If you don't like the game for its mechanics, or you just aren't good at it, give it some more time. If it's just laggy for you, either move on or try and wait to see if Crytek can improve the online via updates.

I thought it was great...

How can you not like it? Anything on the FPS market today is way better than COD.

As much as i agree with this CoD hating it is what every other games company aims to beat and sadly i can't see this game doing it. As bad as CoD is it runs better for me than this game does in fact all my FPS run better connection wise than this one sadly.

The truly disappointing part for me is that the last update seemed to make the connectivity worse. I am getting into instant action games where the host has 4 bars and everyone else has one red bar. I really like the gameplay but I am going to have to give it a rest until the connectivity gets straightened out.
