Help on buying Crysis 2.

Post » Thu Jul 29, 2010 2:22 am

I want to buy this game through iDeal, I saw it at Steam but I've been seeing a lot of negative things about playing Crysis 2 through Steam. Please give me some feedback, I'm all new to Steam.

The way I feel right now I would say hold off buying this game ATM, let the dust settle a bit and see if Crytek sort out some of the issues first.

Steam has nothing to do with the "negative things" in Crysis 2. Steam only launches the game.

I would just hold off buying the game until a lot of the bugs are fixed. As of right now Single Player and Multi Player and unplayable for me because of the bugs. Which means I have a $60 coaster sitting on my coffee table. I hope they will get it fixed soon, but if I were you I would hold off until your hear better things about the game.

Steam is great. Automatic Patch download and installation. You cannot lose cd keys, or the cd. and the ingame functions are great. you can chat with your friends without leaving the game. whatever they play(a steam game) or playing nothing. and the ingame browser, and so on...
