i may be a noob at crysis but im overall pretty good at fp shooters. im sik at cod (obviously, cus its piss), and bfbc2. ive playd others too. But this game is kinda..... i dunno. its kinda tough. anybody got any tips for me. Ive only playd about 10-15 games online but i svckd.

use the suits abilities is one tip.

Not that I'm all that great, but yeah, basically it boils down to learning when to use armor and when to use cloak. Also, the maps are all heavily vertical, so you need to wrap your head around that and the fact that power jump means it's very easy to get to high ground. That's also one reason why camping doesn't work too well in this game. I've seen a few players do it successfully, but generally, it's a lot better to keep moving.

walk around in cloak all the time, go from cloak to armour just before shooting, hide in cover while ur suit gets its energy back and repeat

Get stealth enhance and level it up to level 3, get energy transfer and mobility enhance when u can. These modules will let u move around faster in cloak and maintain ur suits energy levels.

Aim for the head.

check your connection at the score board!

well this is wad i can tell u for starters..cause i myself am a beginner...use ur nanosuit abilities more often,use armor when ur facing an enemy no matter its juz 1 or more...and try to use cloaked and kill ppl instantly with stealth kill..well thats all i can tell u ><

Use SCAR and DSG-1 together.

Make sure u pick your battles. Try not to open fire in open areas, cause u might get the kill but someone will see you do it and kill you as well(instant action) try and take advantage of high ground while cloaked. When your cloaked avoid running in straight line patterns. Use the hologram attachment. Reload while cloaked and jumping for the safest way . Try and be tricky when you encounter an enemy that sees you cloaked. Don't immediately open fire, sprint and run/ jump and try to get behind them. Try to avoid 1vs1 battles where it's a shoot off, due to lag you never know who's going to win for sure. Rather try and go for the unaware targets. Nothing wrong with shooting people in the back. Always assume after u kill someone that someone saw u do it and is tracking you, so move in odd patterns to loose any possible tails. This is mainly free for all advice. Combine this with the modules that were suggested earlier in the thread and u will be a killing machine. I regularly go 5.0 K:D in instant action rooms using strategies like this. The game is difficult in a sense cause you have to play smarter than your average shooter and since camping is not a reliable tactic in this game you need to create your own strategy and adapt to the faster pace in your face action that crysis brings.

Best weapons are probably the feline, scarab and m60. Scar is a decent all rounder as well.
Though I got to admit I'm starting to like the X 43 Mike as well but the range is horrible.
K-volt is good for draining nanosuit energy so u may have to carry another weapon to finish them off if u cant do so with the kvolt.
The dsg1 (I think its called that) is a good sniper rifle but you only get one shot skill if u aim for the head. Havent tried Gauss rifle yet.
Oh and the Grendal.....I HATE THAT WEAPON
