just wondering if anyone is having connection issues, i cant get to multiplayer at all and i know its not my connection cause other games work online

Same here, multiplayer hasnt worked on MY ps3 since i got the game, take it to my friends house and it works fine on his ps3, i dunno man, when i go to multiplayer it brings up the screen to enter the gamesas info for about 1 second and then goes back to a loading screen and says network connection lost. no it didnt work for me either yesterday or the day before(april 16th & 17th)

listed it on ebay after that. going to try to go play it again before the auction closes.

if they ever fix it i can just pick it up used for like $30 within a month or so.

seems like its a bad patch or something, weird how the game worked fine on my friends ps3 but not on mine.

Yeah since the servers were down in some areas of the world since the 16th, I couldn't even sign into the network.

I called Playstation and received vagye answers with no more information than I had from forums.
Mostly they are doing severe repairs or maintenance from the inside out.


When I finally sign in yesterday 11:30pm not only was it putting me in other match modes while waiting for a crash site lobby, sending me to a capture the relay. SO I still think the network isn't at full strength yet.

I had connection issues yesterday as well. However, I would only lose my network connection after each game in Standard Team Instant Match, I don't think the problem was just local to Crysis 2 because I was constantly having to sign back into Playstation Network as well eventhough my internet was fine, as it was working perfectly on every other networked system at my place. I turned it off for about 30 minutes and did some laundry, came back and was having the same issue, but when I switch from Standard to Fast-rounds it was working fine.

I got the same responce when I contacted support, they said that there was some large scale maintenance occuring on the network.
