Hey everyone, I'm new to forums, and Crysis 2. I recently bought Crysis 2 for my PS3, and I have found issues with it. There are frequent texture pop-ins and framerate issues, and I sometimes respawn without a gun (MP). I don't mean to be nitpicky, but I have a 60 inch HDTV, and I notice the little details very easily. I just wanted to know if there will be a new patch coming soon to fix these issues. I also wanted to know if anyone has played the game in 1080p, and if that is a better graphical experience, as i have yet to buy another HDMI cable for my PS3. (Btw, despite these minor annoyances, I still love the game.) P.S.- Can you disable motion blur? It is just plain annoying.

Don't expect texture pop in to be fixed, the frame rate issues maybe lag based rather than actual frame rate issues as lots of ppl say they don't have any ( myself included and lens of truth anolysis clocks invat 28fps average , so really that's bad at all) , so that maybe fixed, and as for the 1080p question , u will never be actually playing fame in 1080p, as games base resolution in 1024x 720p and this is upscaled to 1280x 720p, so all depends on how good ur tv is at downscaling and upscaling etc etc , but ultimately ur still stretching image and trying to get ur tv to fill in gaps by guessing where pixels should be, and theoretically it's nowhere near as good as 1080p and u probably better playing on 720p

I'm holding out a few more days, before I make my decision to trade it, or not.

U played bc2 I'm guessing ?? The nam dlc is good for it.
Otherwise just pick up an old cheap gem u missed, and save the credit up for bf3, as not much on immediate radar. Portal 2 maybe??Not an fps but looks interesting

i have also had issues with this game on the PS3. i am reposting my post from facebook as it seems the devs & publishers have no intention of answering there or on twitter. it's getting very frustrating:

so utterly tired of crashing/freezing of Crysis 2 on my PS3. the web is filled with complaints & others asking about this problem with seemingly no response from devs/publishers/sony, etc... do you guys even give a crap about your fans/consumers/purchasers? NO OTHER GAME CRASHES MY PS3! and this is one of the most looked forward to games in ages! WTF?! i've been tweeting via twitter about it & of course am ignored. how about responding to folks that reach out to you? or do you not give a crap once games have been sold/rented/etc. prove me wrong please. show me that someone gives a crap over @ this company! #EPICFAIL

I might trade it in for Brink comes out next month on 5/10/11 really looks great, if they fix the lag between now and then I might keep it but it doesnt look good for this game.
