CRYSIS 2 Dx11

Post » Sun Aug 22, 2010 2:14 am

I think it's time to ask for an explanation, of why Crysis 2 has not DX11 support, many have bought the game and find a breakthrough as the first Crysis graphics, but we were disappointed, Crytek has given us a console port neither more nor less With more resolution but they are the same graphics, and over quiet and say nothing about DX11, just shut up, all we're going to buy the same, because I think we must get on our site, we have given a DX9 game with leading 10 years on the market because that's what consoles use, if you use DX11 Crysis 2 consoles would have DX11 support, but because they care little for PC users, who are those who have gotten so high, we now forgotten, or graphic form, or 64bit, or DX11, or a statement or anything, if you really do you feel so, may buy the game or not, speak, do not you will keep your head on the floor, like them, give face, and posted only a X If you agree on this, Crytek us PC users want an explanation of why you have deceived us, or really going to be DX11 in Crysis 2 someday, because so quiet .....

Honestly I can't even read that. Use punctuation please, and try rereading what you write because it's very difficult to understand.

^Blablabla DX11 Blablabla...

Just wait for Christ's sake.
They won't answer you this question in the forums because they have an announcement planed.

"Crysis 2 will support DirectX 11 but we'll talk more about that in the future. There's an announcement coming soon about that."

They.ve already explained it. It's coming in a patch. But apparently PC gamers like to bich and moan just for the sake of biching and moaning.

True, but that was over 3 weeks ago that they said they would have an announcement soon. Plus, they haven't reiterated that statement.
By ignoring everyone's questions it raises doubt whether they'll actually include DX11 at all now.

in b4 thread closed by Tom or Adam.

I honestly hope they're working on the other issues and get the game to work consistently before they do anything else.

Everyone keeps saying " its coming in a patch!" WHERE exactly has crytek said its coming in a patch? Because IGN and a few other gaming sites said they MIGHT patch it? DX11 is not longer listed as a feature of the game on nvidias site and is no longer listed as a feature of the cryengine 3. I wouldn't wait for this patch for long.

I have seen some people say that PC gamers tend to complain more than council systems gamers. Well let’s be honest here. PC hard core gamers spend a lot of time researching hardware when they want to build a new rig. Were as council systems gamers simply have to go to the store and pick up there prebuilt system which has outdated hardware. An Box 360 is what $200US were as building a new rig can cost one upwards of $2000+, and this has been true for a good 20 years now. I just recently upgraded my system replacing the MB, CPU, RAM, GPU and an SSD and that cost me about $2000US. I am not knocking the council systems there great for some people, but for me they are way too limited. What I am getting at here is for some of us that spend the time and effort and money in building a new rig for an upcoming game/s that will utilize the hardware they perched and to have that game fail in its hardware utilization on release is disconscerning to say the least. Everyone has a hobby and they tend to put a lot of time, effort and money in that hobby; hardcoe gamers are no different and as such they expect the best.

I totaly agree with what you say. Console games just play there game with a controller and a console, nothing more nothing less. But a pc games gets his perfect mouse/keybord all the hardware in the case. Also the right screen. Tweak everything just fine! And then, there is NO directx 11. That just svcks! But we just need to wait a little big longer. See it from the possitive side of the story. We are able to play! Directx 11 will be there before you know it. And if you don't wanne play the story line without perfect graphics. Just play online and wait with the singleplayer until dx11 is out.

Its a new trend for pc games to be released, and then fix al the bugs with patches and updates. Instead of bring a beta first. Test everything. And then, when everything works like it should be release the full game.
