For some reason, i donno why, i could login using my email and some common password i use, that resulted in me posting on the forum using my email as my username and not being able to change my username anywhere.

I have since switched to this older account that i really wanted to use and i have NO idea where that other account came from or why i has no username.

But it needs to be fixed ASAP, you CANNOT hand out private e-mail addresses on the forum!

It's against your OWN Term of Service and against the privacy law in the country where i live and probably also EU.

You need to fix it ASAP!

And like other posters have stated, after you fix the OP bug, you REALLY need to allow people to change their account username and e-mail.

You much welcome, i also sent a contact post to crytek earlier but i suspect that they will see this before the emails, so many problems being reposted.

I can't believe that no-one spotted this earlier, i'm absolutely furious about this, especially if i star getting spam bombed on my email that i accidently posted with earlier.

CryAdam just posted that he would agree to delete the accounts that are just an email with no username in the nicknames thread.

Sorry but i'm going to have to retract my offer to manually change names because it appears as even though the names are changed, they revert to the previous name when logging in again (this is effecting the usernames displayed as email addresses). I've passed this information on to the web team who are looking into why it's reverting and implementing a better solution to fix this issue up.

If you wish to have your account deleted due to not wanting others to see your email address, this i can do but as far as changing the username, this i can't do at the moment. Please bear with us while we fix this issue.

"common password": the same than the one for you "MayDay" account ? or a random password ?

No they have 2 different e-mails, although i did try to change this accounts email for the other account on crymod.com, it looked like it worked but gamesas.com are still displaying the old e-mail, i donno.

It's ALL very confusing

I just realized this morning that i PM Cry-Adam with this account asking to remove my other account, which is kind of stupid so i asked him again while logged in on the other account, i just hope they remove it AND all the posts where my e-mail is visible.

We are aware of this issue (made obvious by the post of mine you quoted) and it's being fixed ASAP.
