Multiplayer Changes

Post » Sun Sep 19, 2010 5:25 pm

Ok this is really starting to wind me up now, after all that time with no communication between yourselves and the community after you stated that you read our posts and will use them to help improve the game, then answer me this.

Which persons clever idea was it to come up with some multiplayer balance changes when the forum is already riddled with posts about how the game itself needs fixing ( cross platform ). How on earth are we going to notice any multiplayer changes, when we can get into a game, the lag is horrible due to matchmaking, its still full of bugs and glitches. I mean use your heads Crytek people are leaving this game due to all the problems i think its time you guys just swallow your pride and admit you screwed up in some aspects because to be honest i can respect a person that says sorry we messed up, but a person that ignores others and carries on regardless really starts to get on my nerves.

Now i have faith in you guys to make a great game as do alot of others and i honestly think that if you didnt rush this game it could of easily taken game of the year. What i also dont understand is how come these game reviewing companies like ign, and machinima also dont even mention one bug in this game, hmmm kinda strange i thought it was an honest world were supposed to live in but clearly not when monies involved.

I don't think there was anything wrong with the modules. With everyone screaming about hit detection and lag, I'm not sure why they would choose to work on things that are not broken.

Popular/profitable gaming websites/magazines have always been this way with video games. Everybody wants to publish the first review (more hits, more money) and that means little time to experience all a game's flaws. Further, if they were brutally honest with this stuff it would create a review editing nightmare. What happens when something gets patched? Patched again? Etc.

Frankly, I take reviews as seriously as the information on the game box: they tell you what a game could be, not necessarily what it is at the moment.
