Private Forum for MP Testers

Post » Sun Sep 19, 2010 2:43 pm

Please create a private forum that only the MP testers can use, that way we can discuss things like glitches and game balance. As of right now I am having a hard time learning all the features in the test and having a place to ask questions would be great.

I understand that you would want a place to discuss with fellow testers, any glitches or issues you may find, but not a private thread, I feel the forum is for every Crysis fan, and while some may have been selected to participate in the test, clearly others cant.

Would you not then wish that your findings be open at least enough for others to read, perhaps to get a feel on progression of any kind, surely any input of any kind has clearly been requested from any and all sources.

Just a thought?

The test is very private so im guessing the forum section should be private so that no unwanted media or gameplay knowledge is released.

There's supposed to be a board up already for us Testers, if you looked at the bottom of the email that has your test code it gives you a link to the "Tester Feedback" boards, but everytime I click it it says access denied.

It's a good idea, but it's going to be complete hell making you guys into one group. In other words, the Crytek staff can't make you view a private forum without being in a group, and have the right permission to view/use it.

Unless they are already working on a system like it, then I'm not sure.

Read my post above yours. There's already a board up for this. They just have to give people, like myself, access to it. It's not hosted on these boards, it's a complete different URL.

Oh gotcha, yeah I don't know why it's not up yet, or maybe it is and I just don't have correct access. I don't know. There's nothing in the email that will allow you to contact someone if you're having issues. I dunno if I maybe I registered wrong or what but hopefully it gets sorted out soon.

its quite straight forward to do in the admin panel , thats how boards work in general , different areas of the board for different user levels

So the forum for the testers isnt up yet? When I click on the link thats in my e-mail with the code it says access denied. Right after the link, though, in parentheses it says (a invitation is on its way). Hopefully that its.

Crytek have stated that if you do not have access or received your multiplayer test information from a source other than Crytek then you need to email them with your comments and they will pass the details onto the relevant section. Unfortunately i can't find the post to get the email address.

Correct, it's in the sticky in this forum :)

If you received your key from gamesas or EA's GunClub, you should have received an invite to a private feedback forum. If you received your key via other means (CombatTesters, for example) then it will probably show that you are unauthorised to view the private forum. If this is the case then please send your feedback via email to community [at] crytek [dot] com where it can be collected and passed on to the relevant departments.
Thanks!
