well this is my first playthrough of the single player and im currently on seat of power. and i just noticed that although i can pick up ammo for my sniper rifle, my spec ops scarab can only hold 40 shots or 1 mag. whenever i try to pick up more, it says ammo full. glitch or what?

did you switch out of extended mag, that could be why

I had the exact same issues all through the SP. I didn't pay much attention to it since there is basically ammo laying everywhere but there were times i could hold 300 and times i could only hold 150... kinda weird.

It's just a minor bug, either that or Crytek just hates you. ; )

Extended Mag just means that instead of a clip that has 40 rounds your clip can hold 50. Side pack perk is the only thing that could really increase the total you can carry.

The SCAR and SCARAB use the same ammo, so if you have both guns you can have double the amount of ammo.
