If you dont know your nickname, but you know your email and password, How are you supposed to login to the game. My friend is having this problem.

Same here. I can't believe I'm actually posting a reply in this forum just to figure out what my own username is. But impossible to figure out what it is. I carefully looked over every single profile settings and there is NO option to even change email or username, much less figure out what my current username is.....

I even went through the 'forgot password' process, which just sends me an email and allows me to reset my password. And of course, nothing about a username, or any way to change it.

But the worse part is, now that I have posted this reply in the forum, my personal email address can be seen by everyone including whatever spambots who happen to be passing by...

I was having the same issue. Log into Gamespy and make a user name there... the two accounts will link and you will have a user name you can log into the game with. Unfortunately, in the gamesas web site the user name keeps reverting back to the E-mail, so just do not use this site for anything.

Edit: In game I use the handle "R13-The2ndType" but when I come here and I log in using the same handle name the server just uses the E-mail address and it ignores the handle name in the forum. I found this to be funny as hell, being that I have a Gamespy account since 2001 which I used to post in their forums before they merged with IGN and got bigger.

Seems like a waste of time having to make an account here if they are going to use the Gamespy accounts as well.

At least I got it to work in game... that is all I was after.
