Something that i find slightly odd is that in the nanosuit wireframe trailer, the user that logs onto crynet systems at the start is Nomad?

Probably been pointed out, and it may have been made before they introduced Alcatraz. Also, at the end of the video it says there is a problem with exiting battlefield optimisation mode or something like that.

Just pointing it out

Yeah, it is Nomad, but we don't know how much the story was changed from 2009, since it was before they brought Richard Morgan in to take care of the story. Morgan might have ditched Nomad for his story.

Really? i thought of him more as a brick with a name, Nomad hardly had much of a personality

I don't mind who we play as, as long as the story is good

He was at the start, but when you got to the Korean nanosuits he started talking a bit more

Im a bit against alcatraz stealing the nanosuit, if thats what happens. cuz i mean, u need brain surgery to use it!

Exactly. it would be very hard for it to tie into the story with him stealing it...

Alcatraz may be the son of Nomad.

Nomad can be killed in the island by the alien. Alcatraz, his son stole the nanosuit to avenge the death of his father, kill the alien.
This shall have been able to be its motivation to steal the nanosuit.

"sigh" no you see prophet stole the suit, (that has been stated many times by crytek) and then gave it to Alcatractz who was a normal soldier whos squad got ripped apart and was found mortally wounded but prophet gave the suit to him so it could save him from dying. "sigh" - it will all be revealed in the game hopefully and my guess is there are some nice twists involved. I don't really want to think about it yet and I really think that other preview revealed to much up front

Maybe it was given to him and he went rogue? Or maybe he got kicked off the task force so he went rogue and had a member take it for him?

Who knows, but I think the story will be pretty awesome.
