Post » Mon Sep 13, 2010 3:06 am

i thought when i first got cry2 that it looked messy but started playing in 3D and it looks damn good

I need to try the HUD at 0 but 3D clears up a lot of the messy look if you have the hardware

I was just saying my game picture is more clear in 3D than just the game in non 3D

I have a panasonic plasma 3D and w/o 3d on its messy on the edges of a leaf and cars etc...

made the whole screen look messy , turn on the 3d and everything cleans up

kinda like with 3d off its still a bit 3D on so it looks screwed up like 3D w/o glasses

3D mode does look somewhat nicer then 2D mode (not so blur or edgy). Maybe its because its darker? I dont know.

But the 3D effects in Crysis 2 does not have the pop in like KZ3. Its not as good as other games I tried.

yeah i havent seen anything gamewise other than crysis2 or black ops, black ops looks cool in 3d but hurts my

eyes in multiplayer...Ill try and check out KZ3...is it a full 3D game as you were saying to compare or is it just

done better?

KZ3 has a better depth in 3D mode and of course a full 3D game. Not like crysis 2 where it looks flat except for the text popping out.

You should try KZ3 especially the jungle like map. The grass really looks like its sticking out of the screen. Its so much better then crysis 2.

Blops does have a good 3D look but the framerate is kinda jerky. Makes me go dizzy in 20mins..I don't have that problems when I'm playing KZ3.

whoever said this^^ its not true and probably needs to change settings somewhere. I've played Cry2 on one of the latest Samsung 3D 55 TV. The 3D looks no different than in the Cinema the DOF pops just as much as the text. I've not seen a game that looks better but saying that i've not played any other full 3D game. The graphics are much clearer & it looks amazing.

Is KZ a full 3D game? If its not then the 3D your watching isnt true 3D. You can have any game in 3D. If KZ is a 3D game then I bet it does look amazing if its not a 3D game then i'll gurantee a real 3D is miles better.

The only, but big problem with 3D is dealy.
On a none 3D game theres about a 0.5 delay in the controls. On a full 3D game, i'd say 0.75 dealy.

Both KZ3 and Crysis2 look awesome, if not better in 3D. All games have a different way of showing it. But to answer the OP question, it does look clearer then normal 2D. I'm just glad I have the capability to play these games in 3D. Can't wait to try Socom4: The bin laden assasinators and Motorstorm: Apocalypse. Oh, and both use depth of field, I can tell just by looking at the gun your holding on the screen. The only things I saw popping out the screen in KZ3 were the ashes floating around in the 2nd level and the snow flakes in the level where it was snowing. I have a Samsung 61" LED DLP 3D-Ready HDTV w/h adapter kit and supposedly it produces the best quality 3D seeing as its the same as the 3D in the movie theaters. I'm not just talking out of my a$$. Did alot of research in the web and it's rated best for showing 3D because of it's checkerboard format. The kit just provides the conversion. 3D is the new HD era and I do believe its not just going to be a fad. Console's will bring 3D to the mainstream which was never possible to do on console's 5 years ago. Believe the hype, 3D just makes it better and more immersed. I played KZ3 in 3D with the sharpshooter and it felt like a new gaming experience for me. After that, now I want all games to have 3D support. To bad Microsoft doesn't support 3D "YET". I know Halo would've looked awesome. Maybe 720 will support it. Hell, Nintendo is with their next system and they said they would support it if they saw a 30% increase in sales of 3D tech. So what are you waiting for M$? Audiostereoscopic 3D...
