Thats what Dedi's are like? Wow all consoles should have these, Heck if homefront can do it, Why can't the Giants? Halo? Battlefield? CoD? Killzone?

It's a definate selling point too so the cost of running them may be compensated by the fact that more people may buy them for the guaranteed good connections.

Homefront has only 1 dedicated playlist on consoles the (32 players one) rest of em is p2p. Bad company 1 and 2 are alreadu running on dedicated servers on consoles, the res i dunno most likely high costs of maintenance ?

The marshall is my second most used gun in the game with 674 kills. And its terrible, The concept of a pump action is for Range and one shot kills, The jackal in semi auto out trumps the Marshalls one shot killl range and rate of fire.

Are you kidding me!! The dude in the vid had a 20 ping or something close to that. I bust that shotty out with my 3000 kill 3.13 kdr and find it very difficult to get so many one shots dealing with the lag on xbox.

I agree with, the marshall is awful on Xbox I tried it for 2 games and couldn't get 1 ohk. PC has dedicated server so weapons like this have a better chance of working.

I just watched a few of his videos... god I wish more of my friends had gaming PC's. (It really is the best way to play FPS's).

Basing it purely on his vids, the MP gameplay looks a lot smoother (obviously a faster frame rate on PC) but the real eye opener is the hit detection. It really shows just how terrible the hit detection is on the Xbox version :(

Here's hoping 2011 is the year that peer hosting starts to die a death. Region specific dedicated servers are surely the only way forward for online console gaming. A game that has minimal lag and excellent hit detection will be king.

Battlefield & Killzone do have dedicated servers but the latency on the Killzone servers will make you want to punch a baby, Seems like people are always a second ahead of me on that game.

But Servers are always better on the PC and its clear this game runs x10 better on PC with the FPS alone and hit detection, xbox just cant handle this game, its a graphics show case for what their engine can do on a 6 year old console, nothing more!

And to dispell the deabte it is on PC you unperceptive ballbags! "Press J to exchange weapon"

Dont forget the dedis on console kinda are wierd... on pc you retrieve a list of servers running crysis and it tellz you what your ping would be on that server so obviously you would choose the lowest ping in the gamemode or map you want... even with bfbc2 on xbox it just dumps you onto any dedicated server so you dont even know your ping...its retarded... they need to revamp the whole xbox live system for good dedicated servers...actually i noticed that on some xbox arcade games you can choose whos host you want to join so its not like its impossible. Console players need to unite and stop being ignorant about their gaming...demand dedi servers for every fps online. My opinion.

Btw the guy in that vid prolly dropped like 3000$ on an awesome gaming rig for it to look and play that smooth... remember we are playing on 300$ machines that are outdated... i dont think honestly the xbox could ever achieve gameplay and hit detection like that... though dedis would be a start...they wont sort out everything
