» Sat Sep 25, 2010 5:32 pm My Crysis 2 Multiplayer has some extremely annoying bugs, as a lot of others have mentioned here. I did a quick search and couldn't find any answers to this particular one though there are a lot of similar posts (with no answers or responses from mods), so I'm making a new topic for it.
When I go to change out any sort of gear on my classes (weapons, stealth / armor / power upgrades.... grenades, you get the picture) the game resets my previous unlocks / choices and credits back to me the unlock (sometimes it does not however making it an even worse bug). This I found to be only a slight annoyance until i found that when this occurred it would also wipe all kills / attachments I had earned w/ said weapon / suit upgrades / attachments. This is a huge problem as you might imagine and has made the multiplayer....unplayable for me.
I could put up with the random (relatively frequent) crashes to desktop, servers not starting, a multitude of sketchy bugs / gameplay issues, the hackers, and even the XP bug that resets your xp gained if you loose connection to a server (which happens a decent bit) ect. But this is just to much to deal with.
I have done the following to help w/ the TS:
Re-installed Crysis.
Gotten latest Drivers (running a ATI 4870HD).
Confirmed the install works on other computers.
run the game w/o any virus protection (I use AVG, spybotS&D, and superantispyware) or firewall (I use zone alaram), or any other programs, running.
Other possibly helpful info:
I have a Limited Edition copy of the game and used the code to unlock my free stuff before ever entering a multiplayer match.
I have not played through the campaign.
