Would you be against....

Would you guys be against the idea of having only one set of Daedric armor in the game? I mean it's supposed to be EXTREMELY rare, and having only one set I think would magnify this. Plus, what do you need more than one set for?

I said yes, only because while I agree that it should be very rare, I think there needs to be more armor variety. So if there were like 3 sets of daedric armor in the game, but they had different attributes/purposes or something along those lines, I would be perfectly fine with that.

I wouldn't have a problem with that I think the armor was too abundent in Oblivion. I think your talking about the whole armor set not just the Curiuss.

I'd be happy with it being super rare again (like morrowind)... kinda weird to see every bandit and common thief in it...

To outfit the Adoring fan of course.
Oh by the way, make it so that if you wear daedric gear for too long without taking it off, you start to become crazy (whatever way that is implemented), as said in some lore source. Also, you can only repair it while in full moons.

I'm much more against ambiguous thread titles.

To The Terror Of Death, yeah I mean the full set of armor, not just the cuirass.

A light/medium/heavy set would be ideal, one of each, the parts all found in different areas.

I voted no. Daedric should be extremely rare again. Ebony, too, for that matter.

Like how in Morrowind there were like three different types of Daedric helmets? Yea, I could go for that.

It should definatley be rare, no more marauders packin daedric suits and claymores. The only people who should have it would have to be very powerful people like Divayth Fir. In my opinion, i think there should be at least 4 full suits

I'd rather there be maybe one full set of daedric armour, but other pieces enough to complete 1 or 2 separate sets scattered around the world (obtained through quests and dungeon delving).

My answer is not no or yes...
It is:
I would LOVE it if there would be only 1.
Make it more challenging, more space for a cool quest, maybe even entering an Oblivion gate to get that one by killing some Daedric Boss, would be cool :P

More than 1 wouldn't be good, but everything would be better than Oblivion's amount.

Not really. I'd prefer more than just one set, but not a lot more . . . maybe like three full sets. One that can be acquired by fame and wealth, one that can be acquired by fighting and questing, and one that can be acquired by stealth and exploring. So [roughly] three sets, scattered across the world.

I also wouldn't mind if they included exactly one full set of an even rarer type of armor, like an ancient Falmer metal or a new type of material discovered by Nordic metallurgists, that would require some epic crazy quest to earn/unlock, and a bit of everything from the player (stealth, strength, magic, money, reputation, cunning, etc.).

I like your idea. Defiantly limit the number of high end armor and weapons and make each piece unique would add both a challenge in finding the item but also great reward once you own it.

There is already a topic about Daedric Armour. Let's use that one.
