Well I just want to give my quick 2 cents on those "What do you want in NV?" suggestion threads. Some may view game suggestions as redundant since the game is almost finished, but there are always guaranteed DLC on the way. Hard to keep discussion on each idea if they are all in one thread. If it fills up this forum, I suggest making a whole new Suggestions forum for that purpose. After all this is a place to discuss NV. That is all.

Everything is kept to one thread because it's easier to moderate and read. With a forum, (Which would be pointless) You'd have good ideas getting lost amongst the mess of idiotic suggestions (Stuff that makes it exactly like another big name game) and repeated ideas (Cars, real world weapons).

It would be a nightmare to moderate.

Wait wait wait...So you want a forum made for suggestions to stop/reduce the amount of threads about ideas for New Vegas? Wouldn't creating a whole new forum just for suggestions cause THAT forum to be filled up with redundant threads?

The point of the suggestions thread is to give viewer feedback of what we'd like to see in the Fallout series. Although some content may not make it into the game, some of our suggestions could possibly be brought into the next Fallout game. The suggestions threads is a much better concept than a suggestions forum because we have all the ideas contained in one spot for people to view, whereas with the forum we would have to jump out of threads and into other ones to discuss different ideas. It also requires less space which means less bandwidth which means it's cheaper.

I'm just suggesting this because it's just hard to get a discussion going on each specific idea if the ideas were all in one thread. Like the way this idea is being discussed right now.

True, they should have had a Suggestion Forum Tab from the start.
With General Discussion having discussions on released information and speculation.

Would be nice to get a moderator's opinion. Think they know best from experience.

General suggestions for FNV are kept in one thread to keep the forum tidy, if everyone who had a suggestion started their own topic with a general idea the forum would become messy very quickly plus there would be even more repetition than there already is. Some of the ideas are allowed their own topics (such as traits, weapons or armour) but it is up to the moderators to decide which are and which are not general suggestions, we are here to try and keep some semblance of order.

There will not be a separate ideas and suggestions forum, until the game is due out this will be the only one and then no doubt it will be expanded in line with the rest of the forum layouts.
