IMDB listing

Hey guys,

Just found out the IMDB listing for F:NV went up from a friend of mine who did voice work in the game (very exciting to have a personal connetion to the game).

Just a suggestion for the marketing folks at Obsidian and Bethesda: casting Matthew Perry was genius, and it's worth detailing his torrid love affair (and its consequences) with the series in the Trivia section. It's a great bit of trivia that ought to be out there for people to discover.

imdb has a page about the game, probably because the amount of well-known actors doing voice-overs, and voice-overs are listed under actors' bodies of work.

As for Mathew Perry, I don't know why people care that he is doing voice-over. There is nothing genius about casting a voice-over actor. Matthew Perry's voice is not going to break or make the game, nor anyone's voice for that matter. Just have to find a voice that goes with the character.

I think most people are interested because Perry's been very vocal about his appreciation of the series. For all we know he spends some time on these very pages.... :ninja:

It's not so much that he's some "blockbuster" actor, but more because he's an http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAbRzjRRLds like us. I mean he played it so much he needed to get surgery for the RSI he got from playing it so much, and he outs himself about it in the estrogen fest know as "The View". How could you not love that?

His place in FONV, as far as I'm concerned, is well deserved... :P

...that and he was boss sauce on Studio 60 :mohawk:. From what we've heard so far, his voice work has sounded great. And let's face it, it isn't easy to pull those lines off and sound natural/casual.
