In my experience these gentleman probably want nothing more than to respond to the endless array of issues many are dealing with. It is most likely that their leadership has told them to stay silent. I do not understand this and I and can only assume that many others don't either. It is has been my experience that trust and respect are best created when a business is open and honest with the people it serves and so far this has not been the case. If you aren't going to release direct x 11 immediately make a post about it. Don't force people to delve into the inner corners of the forums. If you are patching it like you said please make an announcement quickly as in prior to the release. When a product does not include items originally promised to be contained within it, it is only respectful to keep all involved properly informed. There have been numerous, AI, multiplayer, Nano Catalyst Points resetting, etc issues. A post in regaurds to these would have been considerate. Something that says, hey we know this is not acceptable but we will be working hard to fix them.
I only hope that Crytek remembers that the community is what brought them from obscurity to their elevated status. The demands may seem many, but only because the expectations are so high. Quality is what seperates greatness from the masses, I hope Crytek can find their path to greatness again.
