I have given Crytek the benefit of the doubt since Crysis 2 was announced. Even after several kicks to the groin for PC gamers, I stood by your side. But I just cannot do it anymore.

Taking bugs and glitches aside (and thats a pretty serious issue within itself), let me talk about how you are treating PC gamers.

You release a PC game which you claimed to have anti cheat. Within the first 3 days, pirates are able to play with legit customers. Within the first four days of release hackers are already rampant. The worst part about that is there is absolutely no cheat protection. If there was it was some 1995 anti-cheat security. Seriously. To be able to simply TWEAK game files in notepad to have unlimited cloak, unlimited armor, super speed, and energy is ludicrous. You have ABSOLUTELY NO PROTECTION FOR SUCH A BASIC HACK (Technically its really only a tweak)

Not only that but you gave us hope that you were going to make the MP playable again free of hackers. So I hop online after the 1.02 PATCH update and what do I find in my first game? Hackers...no recoil + infinite cloak + super speed. Jesus Christ Crytek...

On top of that, after minimal research online, I find that the pirates can still access MP. Not only have we legit customers been kicked in the groin, we have also just been slapped in the face, since you are proving that you have no way of preventing pirates from playing online.

THIS LATEST PATCH DID NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.I mean , log on and look at the LEADERBOARDS...that crap is still messed up with rank 50's with 10 mins of playing.

Crytek, you have lost a fan and a customer in me. I have completely given up on you as you have not only shafted us PC gamers, but completely threw us into the curb. I am not going to buy anything with the stamp Crytek in it ever again. I dont care if you are consolified now, that was never the issue. The fact that you treat PC gamers like trash shows your true colors.

I dont care if people pirate this game and play online and continue to play online anymore. The way I see it now, pirates are giving Crytek what they deserve.


the worst part is that they reset stats and if they get caught again they get banned.

99% of the cheaters uses fake serials so whats the use of resetting and banning if they can make a new serial and play again?

first fix the fake serial login then ban the players.

It's a server side update, which if you knew anything about server side updates you would realize that after crytek gives it to the server companies it takes them time to implement. Some days I wish I didn't have to share precious commodities like oxygen.

Actually, he's right on the money with this. The operators have to actually apply the update before it will become effective. Essentially the servers have to be taken down, have the update applied, and then brought back up. I am not defending Crytek, they can do that on their own, but this is quite possibly the reason why the problem is not resolved yet.
