I'm having issues with these attachments....

I am positive I have not found the gauss attachment or the laser sights for pistols....anyone knows an obvious place where to find them in campaign?

I did find a pistol silencer but it never unlocked, anyone else experiencing this?

You can find a pistol silencer right when you go into the car park before you lift the gate in the second mission (after the suspended tunnel gets... mauled), along with a silencer, and Gauss attachments show up later on, strapped to some SCARs, though I can't remember the exact place, just that it's a short while after you get called a bich.

is the Gauss attahment worth it or is it like the light shotgun attachment? Does it replenish itself with ammo at regular ammo points or is it like the regular gauss rifle with no ammo to be found almost anywhere?

It gets ammo at regular ammo boxes, fortunately, and it's pretty good at killing CELL. Haven't tried against squids.

Shame you can't slap Sniper Scopes on the SCAR anymore, though.
Oh yeah, and there's a Marshall hidden in the diner/shop/whatever thingy on the opposite side of the road from the door you go under. The same side on which you fall.

and it's ok, I doubt I'd be using the gauss attachment for more than a short range armor piercing shock weapon anyway

FYI, Gauss attachment is a 1 shot kill on anything up to a stalker as long as it's on an open spot (like the back)
