I just tried installing the crysis 2 patch 1.1. Upon opening the app it searches my entire C:/ which is definately where crysis 2 is stored, but it says it cannot find it. then it says to reinstall crysis 2 and run the patch again. I really dont want to spend a few hours redownloading crysis 2 from stream if I dont have to. Anyone have any input or at least let me konw im not the only one this is happening to lol thank you much

Steam automatically updates games, you don't need a standalone patch

that's what I've heard before but I've actually had a few cases where I had to manually download and install patches, and if steam shows any sort of verification after it's patched a game automatically i've never seen it, so i like to be safe and manually instal patches.
