Anyone here thinks this will be available later on? A gamemode that lets you team up with a few others and defeat waves after waves of enemies where they get stronger after every wave?

The game got everything ready for that (the enemies, pods etc)

I really think every game need a mode like this. I loved ODST's firefight.

I have to agree. A "horde" of aliens coming at me would definitely get my adrenaline pumping. I would pay $10 for this mode alone. Mp rules.

Firefight is cool but how about a mode like GRAW 2 where you have to defend zones, for a certain amount of time, but in CRYSIS it would be from from alien attacks, and the other team (aliens) is other players on xbox live. This way it would take away from the scripted nature of a firefight and create a true tactical team experience. Organize or die.

Yeah, I admit, I haven't really played too much of this game yet, but I'm worried that after a while, it'll get really boring. I mean Halo games and Black Ops games keep getting played because they have a lot of game modes (ie. campaign, matchmaking, custom games, firefight, forge in Halo) whereas Crysis 2 basically has just campaign and multiplayer

Lets fix the current mp before we go asking for more. Otherwise the mp will be dead....................................

I do think the game is capable of CoOp, but they didn't put it in.
But firefight would be awesome for Crysis.

It would make the game 10 times better if there was a firefight or horde mode.
But I don't think crytek will bring one.
Maybe with one of the dlcs
