Is rapid fire worth it?

I cant tell a difference on the Scar with rapid fire. Is it bugged or is it just a small increase?

Dunno about the scar but on the Feline it makes it look like it's shooting a 3-round burst because that's just how fast your whole ammo count goes.

Pretty useless on it if you miss too since then you have no bullets left.

I wouldnt bother with it. The RoF increase is hardly even noticable on most weapons.

Yes i think its worth it,especially when you upgrade, it increases the second weapon as well.I have got so used to using it , that when i take it away, the kills are harder.

I find the damage/kills fine as they are, when i tried rapid fire i was burning through ammo which put me down to pistol a few times :O

rapid fire good at some weapons, it increases your fire rate by 2 "blocks" in weapon stats, so with feline it's hardly noticeable, but with marshall shotgun or L-tag it's overpowered

The L-TAG is horrible and rapid fire doesnt change that.

EDIT: Rapid Fire increases rate of fire by 10% on the SCAR and SCARAB. Worthless in my opinion. A 10% increased rate of fire is rarely going to change the outcome of an encounter.

It's overpowered with the Marshall? Great I'm going to have to try that. As it is it seems underpowered.

With rapid fire weapons the increase isn't much since the weapons already fire a fast speeds

but with slow weapons like shotguns, the DSG sniper, the guass rifle and the ltag, it can be deadly

i remember a guy that went with the DSG-1 sniper with rapid fire like it was a rifle and used it in close combat, 2 or 3 shots and you were dead
