New CAP fixes flickering?

Post » Sun Oct 03, 2010 5:35 am

I downloaded and installed the new CAP file that is supposed to fix the flickering for ATI users who have a multigpu setup. However it's not working for me. Has anyone had success? What is your setup?

It is only for the Steam version of the game, read the release notes...

CAP for all other versions should be out very soon, too.

Doh! My brain must have edited out the word Steam in some attempt to give me a glimmer of hope. Thanks for the heads up!

I suppose its just hubris on my part. When I've dropped 4 bills on video cards and another 65 on the game, it's adding insult to injury when I have to fix the product my self.

You can also rename crysis2.exe to fear.exe, which is what I do. Works quite good, so far. But it's an workaround not a solution for the problem.
