If CRYTEK Releases an exansion pack, I demand a free copy.

Honestly, screw being nice and formal.

I'd normally be over such disappointments in a matter of hours, but this release straight out pisses me off.

Hey I'll admit the FPS experience is superb, and that's why I'd love to enjoy multiplayer (if it worked half the time) but everything else straight out svcks.

After putting up with this failure of a game, with a **** storyline, false hype and the fact that this is a console first port (you lied, wtf), you decided to create your own multiplayer infrastructure that hardly functions, and everything else we consumers have been biching about...

With all of these fallbacks, if you release DLC or an expansion pack, I demand a me, as well as all Limited Edition purchasers, or how about everyone who purchased this game around launch, are entitled to free copies.

I mean you seriously may as well, not like I'm in favor of shoveling any more cash towards you.

And seriously? Wtf is up with all the silence? No news or updates? Did you all take our money and run for the hills?

Stock holders before consumers eh?

Who else agrees?

i posted something similar , just a bit nicer

i think i just decided from now on i wont buy any EA games ever...if something is decent i just pirate or get it later used

and hopefully EA gets bankrupt and all this great developing studios will be once more free to do quality work

i think by not buying EA games is currently the best way of supporting the studios, if EA goes belly up the only ones safe will be those people - those people actually have skill - they will have no problem surviving, until then they only get salaries anyhow, and after they will make a lot more money and will get they creative freedom back

many programmers are probably under contract, even if they want they cant leave....

+1
but I'm gonna slap someone in the face if the DLC will be something like a new camo for Feline + yet another too-small map with badly placed spawn points.

I disagree, I'm loving the game and I hardly have problems with it, I can live with getting disconnected here and there if it works properly (like it does) most o the time.

Um dude, you are not in entitled to anything, if you was disappointed with your Limited version of Crysis 2.
The limited version was a FREE upgrade from standard to limited, that's your "free ****".

You really have no idea how developer/publisher relationships work do you? By not buying EA you're not helping out the developers at all. What will happen is EA will have a bad quarter or year (if enough people just stopped buying their games) and then EA like all big publishers do will cut a low percentage of it's workforce. It happens generally once a year for both EA/ATVI, 5% get laid off which amounts to a few thousand developers without jobs.

People feeling entitled to free games because their expectations were met? Who do you think you are? And then trying to justify it by downloading pirated copies?
Boo Hoo, your expectations weren't met, fine then don't buy future products from the company without waiting for reviews or friends recommendations. Don't be a slimeball by pirating.

"You're not entitled to anything, get a job."

Well I'm a paying consumer, I work for my money, and Crytek ruined their credibility, so shove it up your ass.

Most games have a couple bugs when released, but the game overall was a big let down to a large portion of consumers, false claims that this was a PC first game, and the amount of issues this game has had at release is unacceptable. Players are stuck with a console port which is less of a game than Crysis 1 was, while raising the price beyond that of the average PC game.

Crysis did an unsatisfactory job, and needs to make this up to the consumer base if they want to earn back some of their market trust.

So who the hell are you to tell me what to do?

"Limited Edition was free"

Yes, of course, those who purchased the game around launch received the Limited Edition.

Why are you hating on the storyline, i mean it's much better than the one in C1.
Anyway, the multiplayer connection and bugs can be pretty irritating, but the great gameplay tops it off.

Crysis 1, being fictional, still had a believable plot. The franchise also had created it's own unique characters and enemies.

Crysis 2 turns the story into something superficial, and a clear rip-off of Halo(and no I don't hate Halo) and several other games, even the enemies placed in this game are clearly a rip-off. If this was a stand alone game, it would be more tolerable, but that's not the case here now is it. But it doesn't even make sense as a sequel. Nothing adds up.
