Multiplayer Lag after a couple of minutes in the game

Post » Sun Mar 13, 2011 6:18 am

Whenever I enter a match in multiplayer it runs smoothly for the first 2-5 min. After that it starts jittering heavily. I have tried even at the lowest graphic settings but it always starts lagging. This is a big problem for me and it ruins my multiplayer experience. Anyone else encountering the same problem?
My ISP is fine. 4mbps and runs smoothly in other games.
P.S- Single player runs smoothly even at full hd at extreme.

PC cofig:
Core 2 duo 2.2 ghz
4gb DDR 2 ram
ATI 4770HD 512mb

I have the same problem as the OP. IT'S REALLY FRUSTRATING... Happens only in multiplayer.

I am not going to belittle you, but to be fair I am even suprised that you can run this game on a 2.2 Ghz dual-core and a 128-bit GPU. I think there is your problem your hardware is struggling for its survival.

I have the same problem with Phenom X4 965+, GTX470 and 4GB ram so this is not hardware issue. It only happens in multiplayer and I seriously have no idea why would that be. Singleplayer is perfectly fine.

Yes my GPU is 128bit but its also GDDR5 and my single player runs smoothly at extreme settings 1920x1080. The only problem i have is in the multiplayer. Its not because of my specifications because people with high end rigs also have the same problem. People say that its a memory leak but i dont have any idea about this stuff.
And till date i have been able to max out every game on my rig.
