First-person FOV scaling?

Post » Thu Jun 02, 2011 3:43 am

Dear Crytek,

Please implement FOV scaling so that our models don't look disproportionate in comparison to the rest of the game world, especially when on the higher FOV settings?

When I change my FOV, my shadow looks far smaller than my in-game models.

FOV: 75

I'll take two comparison pics. Gimme about 15 minutes.

Done.

There is a command for that, r_DrawNearFov. You can change it on the fly by using the console.

It works, but it makes some first-person animation look wrong.
