Tec, Tech or Tek?

Throught the various Fallout games, I've seen those three spellings for Vault-Tec/Tech/Tek. So, anyone got any ideas or views on what it actually is?

Vault-Tec is the official one, although there have been some misspellings here and there.

I'm always putting Vault-Tech for some reason, but now I look at it, Vault-Tec looks so much cooler.
