Installing Bloodmoon

Post » Sun Aug 16, 2009 12:26 am

Well I recently installed bloodmoon but I've been getting the snowflake error. I've also lost the CD :( And for some reason I get the snowflake error even when I unclick bloodmoon on the data files thing. Can anyone help?

Thanks but as I said I can't find the bloodmoon CD to copy it over. On my other vista computer I used a program that was on that page but for some reason that is not working now.

Thanks for the help though.

Have you moved your http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/781497-vistawindows-7-problems/page__p__11352753&#entry11352753? That usually by-passes all the Vista/Window 7 bugs that they cause.
Be sure you're running the game as Admin (not just logged-in as Admin, there's a difference.)
Or, just turn off your User Account Control (UAC) when you play Morrowind.

Read the Pinned Threads, they have all this info already.

Did you try looking in your http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/781497-vistawindows-7-problems/page__p__12113679&#entry12113679 directory? That's from the pinned topics that Pluto mentioned, which you should read if you are on Vista/Win7.

Have you done a search for files ending in .ess? They may be hidden away somewhere.

Did you see this, from the pinned threads:
1) Open your C: Drive
2) Double click on Users
3) Double click on the name of the user the save files is on.
4) Make sure you can see hidden files and folders within the specific user directory
- If you don't know how to do that, a quick Google search will explain it for you.
5) Double Click AppData
6) Double Click Local
7) Double Click Virtual Store
8) Double Click Program Files
9) Double Click Bethesda Softworks
10) Double Click Morrowind
11) Double Click Saves

If you've moved your install location, your new saves should be in [install location]/morrowind/saves
