NO DX10/11 Only DX9 [Obvious Console Port]

Its DX9 No DX10 or 11 At launch the menus are obviously Console port the graphics are not stellar or would be considered a benchmarking tool anymore Really Crytek ? Crysis Warhead your previous game was DX10 you MORONS

I think people need to start to realize that DX9 is still fine if done properly, which in Crysis 2 it is.

Did DX10 work in Crysis1/Warhead? Not properly no, so If Crytek's goal was to choose a single API for the PC and focus on that so not only could people on older systems still run it, But they could factor in high end settings.
The main reason of the dislike of DX9 would be the lack of Anti Aliasing when it comes to Deffered game engines, Crysis 2 has a way around this using A different form of AA that works fine.

Even if it IS dx9 , the graphics really don't let you down. I thought it looked great and i played crysis 1 and warhead maxed on 1920x1080. Seriously, the games story is great too.

Why did Crytek not reply to the plethora of questions about DX11 prior to release then? I mean, they said "this game will support DX11," not, "This game will support DX11 in the future, and not upon release."

Look, I'm not hating Crytek because it's a solid game and its got major fun factor. But the question was asked directly on these forums a hundred times and it should absolutely not be out of the question to expect DX11 when the product is delivered, if there was no information stating otherwise.

It would have taken a simple one-sentence reply.
