New Maps?

Post » Thu Jul 29, 2010 9:29 pm

Anyone think that new map packs will be developed like Black Ops or are they too in depth to be expecting some any time soon? I love what is out already but a times they can get a little repetitive and I cant help but wonder what new maps will be released if any at all. This game has limitless potential to grow and expand. I would love to see more weapons, more maps, and even more nanosuit upgrades. I can only wish.

To my understanding, and I could be wrong, the DLC was worked on before the games release... If I had to take a guess, I'd say the DLC will be out by middle of May.

And just to reiterate, I will not be buying it until the game is at least functioning properly 80% of the time.

The fact that the maps are just ripped from single player leaves me very uninterested in even getting them. Even if they fix the game and it's networking issues I still don't feel the need to have 4 more maps that have no real MP feel to them. I'm tired of the huge open vertical maps from campaign. They're not made for MP and they should have been. Lazy developers.

Well they need some ideas so why not use something there comfortable with. I mean black ops and halo reach both used their campaigns for inspiration but later moved on to new ideas.

I can see using the original story boards for multiplayer in the beginning so long as more elaborate maps are in development. They are indeed not meant for online combat style gaming due to the vast wide open areas all over each board. But this can go both good and bad...depending on your style of game play the boards can work either for you or against you but this will also bring out the long range campers on any map.
