OK, that makes perfect sense. Thanks for the replies.
I hadn't considered that it could take more than one headshot to get the kill.
@Goose306: In that case, when there could be multiple skill shot awards in a single kill, how is it determined which one you will be awarded? Or is it random? I think it would be nice to get all possible awards in a single kill. For example, get Vengeance, Busted and Headshot in one kill.
Regards.
I agree as well. I believe there is a precedent system per Skill Shot. For example, I know a "Specter" will always take precedence over almost anything else, included a "Vengence" and the "Denier" (or whatever it is for stopping a streak). However, I know that it is not awarded if it is a "First Strike" as that always takes precedence, and same with Double/Triple kills. I know this because I have counted my number of assassinations I get in a match and it didn't align with the number on my service record due to getting other skill kills in it's place.
It seems like the system has a preference for giving you different ones depending on the circumstances, and some have a higher "rank" than others, so to speak in regards to how and when you get them, that is, it is largely predictable if you got it down. I agree that I wish it would give you all the proper skill kills per kill, but it doesn't however.
