INCREDIBLE HUL...... CRYSIS?

Anyone else feel as if this company ignored us for nearly 3 months and then all of a sudden came out of the wood work and gave us fake network updates and some fake ass patch information?

Network updates have done a lot of good for a lot of people, patch notes are *supposedly* forthcoming, however their communication has also upped a lot making me think it is probably going to happen.

Negating the fact that the game was released 2 months ago...

@OP, can you go into more detail about your point? We've received a lot of positive feedback about the network updates and they're most certainly not "fake" so i don't understand your point.

In regards to the "fake" patches, I may understand your point to some extent as they mostly addressed issues that in many cases we've never even heard of that so we wouldn't have noticed if they took effect or not. This does not make them fake, but doesn't make them real either. I highly doubt that they would fake these, although I have no proofs for this.

The Network Tweaks are definitely NOT FAKE. Lag has reduced considerably, with more green bars each game, it is faster to get in games (though mid-game joining is a nuisance imo), and the host migrations work a lot more often. This was a HUGE improvement, and while they have a little bit more to go in terms of what I spoke about in a thread I made in the last hour or so (https://secure.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=29418 ), they've helped a lot.

We shall see what the next patch does, hopefully it will fix some other big gripes people have but at the moment the game is very playable for many, including my friends though it still needs some streamlining IMO.

I just hope the network coding gets better in two weeks as I can't play crysis cause I have my exams, so the good network coding will be intergrated into the patch?

Cry-Adam please include Net Coding in the Patch Notes!

The netcoding changes themselves are backend stuff on the servers and matchmaking side so there is no need to patch the game itself. For that reason, we wont see them in the upcoming patchnotes as they wont be included in the list of changes to the gamedata.
