K/D and Accuracy.

Post » Fri Jul 30, 2010 11:52 am

Im asking, is anyone here the kind of person who doesn't care about their K/D and Accuracy. I mean im the sort of person who if they find a gun they haven't unlocked, pickes it up and shoots it without caring that there accuracy is going down. Or they are wasting time on their K/D.

I kind of care- not more than just taking a casual glance at it though. It doesn't affect how I approach the game itself. I think it's only natural to want to be the best you can be at a game (or anything really), so looking at measurable metrics is a way to track yourself. But I agree with you; when I get a new gun or new suit module I just play it out and see if I like it. If K/D and accuracy suffer for a few rounds, who cares.

I could care less about it. I don't wanna be the best i just wanna have fun. I don't even know what my k/d is. I'm sure it's awful but i had fun making it that way. I'm not gonna say i don't wanna be good enough to kill a halfway decent amount of people in any fps but if i die 1000 times and got 100 kills i had fun getting those 100 kills. Of course no one is getting 100 kills or dying 1000 times that's just an exaggeration. I'm just here to have fun. I hate when people take this crap so seriously. I personally would be embarrassed if i was the best at a video game because that to me means i need to get out more and i probably would be unemployed.

I don't think alot of people care so much, I did however have one goal after achieving level 50 & that is to get 3 in my ratio. I'm long retired now & just waiting on Crytek big Title Update.....

Some details below I got from my signature

Xbox Gamertag: Sa1R3d Wa1ka
Kills: 16,300
Deaths: 4,892
K/D Ratio: 3.32
Longest Kill Streak: 46
Win/Loss Ratio: 3:25
Accuracy: 28%

I don't care, I still have fun playing even though my K/D is only 0.68.

LOL that's just rude

About 80% of people who play games are low key players... nothing wrong with it

I know! I was joking!

It took me about 20 games to get a positive k/d from the 0.50 I started with!
I've rebooted now and level 30 with a 2.07 k/d, but I'd rather play with people that go for the objective and are team players than a selfish player with an 'amazing' k/d!

I don't care all that much about it, im not upset that its not higher than it is, but I like to see signs of improvement. My first reboot it was .82, second 1.29, and at rank 20 now its. 1.33 without the 'best' modules'. Nothing spectacular but Im having way more fun w c2 than any other fps I have played.

That's exactly how i think of it.

I only care about my K/D when I'm dying a lot and want to stop my deathstreak. I care about accuracy though - not the stupid stat. I just pride myself in being able to actually hit something.

Well, I bet my accuracy would improve if I actually tried.

Speaking of trying, there are times in some matches where I unload on an enemy from the back and of course they spin 180 and kill me. After I finish my unloading of the clip, I just PUT MY CONTROLLER DOWN because I know I am DEAD. If they do not die within the acceptable or expected amount of hits, I laugh out loud, then wait for them to KILL me so I can RESPAWN and start over.

Thank you.
