Is there any good reason to reboot?

Please let me know guys. From what I can tell reasons to reboot are:-
- The prestige of doing it (i.e. players ranked 30 & over probably know you have rebooted, and self-satisfaction)
- Gold camo on reboot 5

Reasons against would be
-Crappy monochrome icons to show you have prestiged
- No extra respect from anyone apart from some of those at the top of the table
- Slower XP earnings (I believe you earn more the higher your level, though once you have maxed out an assessment that's it)
-Often (as shown here on the forums and anecdotally from friends online) loss of XP/assessment bonuses

If there are any more benefits to offset these please let me know, as I'm looking for an excuse to do it, but so far cannot find one

I rebooted a couple of days ago, and at the moment I'm struggling with the game again, a lot of games seem to be like it was when I started playing- I kill someone, someone kills me, I kill someone, someone kills me and so on. I'm missing my mobility enhance and energy transfer :).

I would say do it as it will improve some of your stats as they will get wiped when you reboot. My K/D ratio has gone up a bit to about 2.7 and the win/loss has gone positive as well as I played a lot of IA the first time around. It's a real challenge starting again and it feels like you are a sitting duck half the game, but it's more fun when ranking up as I know what I'm doing now. Nice dog tag to!

I know what you mean, I started from zero on a different account yesterday, and it was just like that- but really KDR is sort of meaningless in CTF type games, and only you see your KDR.

Grrrr - just cannot decide
