What do you guys think now? (poll)

What do you the community think of Crysis 2 as it is currently? With what is being promised and what the patches have fixed and what we have previewed etc. (yes there is a dx11 preview vid if u don't know)

Personally I love crysis games and i think it's excellent for dx9 and can't wait for dx11. Currently i can run it at a low rez with max settings with 60+ fps. But, I am worried that dx11 will cause my laptop to overheat or make my performance very crappy. Some people have told me it won't and might make it perform better. I'll see what happens i guess.....
Absolutely cannot wait for MOD stuff and sandbox 3. I hope intel holds another one of those contests where people make the best levels they can like they did with Crysis 1, there was some very good creativity there.

Crytek is trying but its too little too late. The player base is getting rather small and its difficult to find non-Crash Site and TIA games outside of peak times. Extraction and Classic are pretty much nonexistent.

They took too long to deal with all the hackers and problems the game still has.

They still haven't been able to fix the auto-deleting Banned List. Auto balance doesn't work and one of the most frustrating problems with the multiplayer is that stupid hanging lobby. These are simple things that should have been fixed. They gave us an admin-dependent game but limited tools to admin the servers and deal with hackers.
The last patch is now causing our servers to crash more frequently than ever before. They still can't even make it easier to buy the DLC. Just throwing money out the window. We've had it. I think it's time to throw in the towel on this game. What a shame, the #1 and #2 ranked servers will shut down.

To be honest, the game has not been "improved" at all. The only reason that it's better than it was at release is because Crytek fixed some bugs.

If you dig the DLC maps tho, I guess you can say it's better now.

I think they released it a month too early. The game still had some pretty major bugs and as the saying goes first impressions last. Most of the serious bugs were cleared up in the 2nd patch though, for me anyways, and the ongoing patch process has just refined things further. I would say the game was well worth the £26 I spent.

It's a slight shame that the DX11 wasn't ready to go on release because I think that the game would have had a much more positive reception if it had been. If that short tech film is anything to go on.

I would also say the game was released too early. Crytek should have fixed all of the bugs and other problems instead of releasing the game in its current state. Luckily however I have not experienced any problems in my time of playing the game except for a lag fest when an orbital strike rains down and the occasional hacker here and there.

Overall I am very happy with the game :D

Loved it from the release, but with the patches, DLC's and with DX11 patch coming, I love it even more...

It may have improved, but it's still disappointing. Crysis wars is buggy and full of hackers, but damn they had the right idea with powerstruggle.. A re-done powerstruggle mode without a ridiculous perk system would rival the Battlefield series.

Powerstruggle was an attempt at some Battlefield style gameplay but never even came close - Crysis Wars was ****, I probably spent a maximum of 3-4 hours in that game. Crysis 2 MP is much more fun for just jumping in for a few rounds at the end of the day. The Battlefield series are dedicated MP experiences and are the best MP experiences IMO. It concerns me the Battlefield 3 has an SP campaign, i think they should concentrate on the MP.

Still enjoying Crysis 2 MP though, I have just reached lvl 50 and considering rebooting the suit. Just got lvl3 AirStomp though and the recovery time is cool - decisions, decisons :D

The only problems with wars are the bugs and hackers, otherwise it was far superior to Crysis 2. C2 is just a tiny CoD-type shooter. It's easier to quickly jump in and play a few rounds of C2, but that doesn't make it a good game, it makes it a game for casual players with a shallow MP experience.

Besides, there would be no reason to omit TIA if powerstruggle were implemented, but having the option would be great.
