[RELz] Tyana's Hi-Res Railway Rifle Retex

Post » Sat Aug 22, 2009 1:20 am

Railway Rifle Retex 1.0 - By Tyana Rie 2009

Just a high res retex with more detail, I've separated the Nuts, Bolts, Iron, Steel and Wood
and retextured and Recolored ALL of them.

What's effected:

The Railway Rifle

Extract all the stuff to the correct folders (The paths should be all set up in the 7z file)

Otherwise, just use the FOMOD and make things even easier.

If anyone wants to use part or all of this mod for some crazy reason, just ask, and give credits
in your mod :)

It's my pleasure to present you with this :trophy: for a job well done!

I dunno, it looks worse IMO, maybe the saturation is a bit too high? And I can't see the "hi-res" at all...

Something by Tyana that doesn't glow? BLASPHEMY!
Other then that, it looks alright, but I think that if it wasn't so bright, it would make more sense, since wood doesn't shine well if you haven't properly treated it.

Oh, and it looks good in game, but the other shots look really bright.

I don't think this is hi-res. It seems just brightened.

The original texture was 512 I changed it to 1024.

should I go for 8192 so it takes 15 minutes to save each time?

The shots are screenshots taken from nifskope, so yea, they look more exaggerated than the actual in game shot.

Well I've got some recording to do, and I'm not going to [censored] around all night turning this into a customander peice

Why are you getting pissed? Your always going to get criticism with mods, and you have to get used to it, you can't just act like a jerk and put everyone down to feel better abut your mod...

besides no one is asking you to make it better, they're just critiquing your work

I wasn't getting pissed, I said I had some recording to do (Butcher Pete) and I can't be arsed to mess around with
spending a lot of time re-retexturing the Railway Rifle until everybody is happy with it.

I've shut down access to it at the nexus also, until I can get more free time to work on it.
