Altmer Barbarian, born under the Lord.

When he was young he lived in Skingrad in Cyrodiil and was a novice in the MG. But there was an accident with a fireball and he got burned badly. He developed a phobia against fire and magic so he ran away into the great forest. There he learned to live in the wilderness without magic. One day he was fighting a troll near a road and a traveling mage saw the fight and wanted to help. Because it was a troll the mage used a fire spell but your guy panicked and killed the mage. When he calmed down and realized what he had done he deeply regreted his action and turned himself in to a Legion patrol.

RP restriction:
- the only spell he can cast is the healing spell from his birthsign
- if enemies are using fire spells, he usually panicks and runs away

You could work on the MQ to atone for your sin or you could just go adventuring in the wilderness.

Spend more time in the water. Swim around the entire island and explore all the grottoes, shipwrecks, and if you're on the PC get http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=258. Get yourself an enchanted spear with a water breathing spell. Don't be so much of a landlubber! You will have a blast. Hunt pearls, collect scales and only come out of the water to sell those and what you have found in the ships and grottoes. After you have swam around the entire island and have spent enough time exploring Morrowind's aquatic world, climb up on land and join the Imperial Legion or find a job, yet never forgetting your love of the sea.

This, but let him be a wild Argonian instead of a Legion recruit. Possibly wanting to free all the (Argonian) slaves. Stealthy guy. Never does any official quests, except for Twin Lamps, and some general helping around. Also download a mod which makes Argonians' Water Breathing constant effect. More realistic that way.

Here's something EXTREMELY EPIC I've thought... Oblivion players might get the pun.

Play St. Jiub! This Dunmer http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Jiub. He is an illusion specialist, with no other goals than to drive all the Cliff Racers away from Vvardenfell. :D I don't know if this works, but use a Command Creature spell to draw all the Cliff Racers to one particular area. Then teleport them away with, say, using http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tribunal:Unique_Items#Barilzar.27s_Mazed_Band near them and see if they spawn with you to Mournhold or something! :D Or I don't remember whether it's possible to create an area effect Recall spells on target; that would be freaking awesome for Jiub!

Or just make them follow you and fly them to Solstheim or something. Someone has to play this character!

I wonder if I could use the construction set to remove all cliff racers in the game and replace them with NPCs that have the same skin, shape, animations, and 360o movement. That way, once you kill a "cliff racer," it's gone for good. Maybe it would be easier to make actual cliff racer appearances scripted in specific locations. Hundreds of specific locations.

that sounds a tad hard, but maybe unchecking the "respawn" box in the cliffracer (and its leveled list cliffracer buddies) so they dont respawn. ever.

Yeah, I kept in mind that they respawn and didn't think about modding. Jiub wouldn't kill them, he would just lead them out of Vvardenfell. They won't be dead, so they won't respawn.

If that Command Creature + Barilzar's Mazed Band thing would work... Mournhold! City of light! City of magic! City of cliffracers! :chaos:

I once built an argonian 'hunter', who lived off the land. He was a heavy alchemy user, who didn't necessarily shun cities, but didn't care for them. His 'home' was the pool to the north of Balmora (follow the road towards caldera, then jump down off the bridge and follow the water), where he kept his 'trophies' and items he didn't care to sell.

His primary weapon was the spear and longbow. He shunned all magic, feeling that the use of it was unnatural. He felt right at home on Solstheim, hunting wolf pelts for the armor was one of his favorite quests. He did the first couple of main quest missions, but after dealing with Sharn, he got tired of being the Emperor's 'errand boy', and never went back.

Mine's living in the grotto near Ebonheart,
Spoiler
the place where Lord's Mail is
. I'm getting the feeling the rats there won't even respawn, meaning he doesn't have to kill them every time he wants to sleep. :D He's living on the cliff there where you can only access with levitation. He likes the place. Damp and pretty well hidden. It seems that at least the Imperials don't know about it. ;)

He's an assassin, actually a respected member of Morag Tong. I'm not doing all the quests with him since I don't want Eno Hlaalu to disappear again. :( He also frees all the slaves he can find. He is a Hlaalu Lawman, but he's not liking everything that house has to offer, including slavery and all the stagging that's going on. He still steals for his personal need, though. He's filthy like that. ^^ One of the bestestest characters I've ever started, IMO. The first Argonian.

He's yet to swim around the island and find everything that's underwater, though. I think he'll do that once he's more experienced. Dreugh are a bit too hard opponents at this stage.

I also once played an agent (yeah, he was stealthy, but there's no reason he had to be stealthy) who focused on marksman and short blade, who after completing most of the fighter's guild quests and then the 'bloody story' quest for the legion commander whatshisname that ends in the balmora council club, he decided to end the theives' guild and the commana tong. That consumed his game for a good couple of weeks, followed by smoking out each and every smuggler cave throughout the island.

Be a hardcoe Legionaire. Join the Legion, wear nothing but Legion armor, use only "Imperial" weapons (you'll have to enchant them yourself for anything worth using), and be a morally upstanding citizen. Don't steal ANYTHING. Don't kill unless necessary to protect life and property. Membership in the Imperial Cult is OK but not required. Limit magic to bare minimum.

Return to III - Morrowind
