I killed Penny and now own her boots ^.^ makes my character

Post » Sun Aug 23, 2009 12:41 am

so with my current character the only thing ive found to reduce teh blind effect is to look directly at the sun on a very bright day when teh sun is at its shiniest and then equip the boots

my char is a breton so i have resist magicka but i set my char up the same way i did for oblivion (havent played morrowind in 2 years at least soi forget a huge chunk of the bonus stuff i still know how the mainquest of each area plays out and a handful of the "side" quest and their rewards...)

any way where can i get some valueble junk to sell to creeper so i can make a 100 pt night eye amulet

where is "santa's workshop" in solsthiem ?? i found it a few days ago then elft stopped playing cuz i switched to GTA4 and then to black ops any way spent 3 hours looking for it yesterday and i couldnt find it nearly got killed by a bear that spawned behind me well i was killing a wolf

(was rather sad when i 1st came back to solthiem after getting morrowind working on my 360 the 1st wolf i saw i was like "hey look a panther, wait theres no panthers on Solthiem.. is there? then i killed it and it said wolf and i was like woah didnt realise the graphics were this bad :P)

any way apart for the perma corpse next to "santa's workshop" are there any other safe containers ???

apart for running / getting training how to you level up athletics ??? mines currently 12 and the boots arrnt exactly fast enough yet ...

(Cant wait till im level 6 currently level 2)

Btw, no offence but your post was painful to read. Punctuation would be greatly appreciated.

No problem. I use it quite regularly, though not so for Morrowind as it's been ages since I last played and I've forgotten most of what I knew (which was, annoyingly, a lot). Hence me only linking to the Morrowind page, and nothing specific. I don't want to ruin the mystery for when I next play >.>

Ungh. Nevermind. I use it too...

But, yeah, better not check all the artifact locations or something like that. At one time I did that pretty much, and it took away the fun of exploring. I was always reluctant to enter random dungeons though... Afraid I'll ruin some quests before I got them, so, worse than another. :)

Swimming is the best thing for leveling up athletics, and trainers, of course, if you have the money.

If you want to get easy use out of the Boots, roll an Orc. You won't be able to see very clearly, but you'll be able to see (without any special enchantments/spells).

i never understood the need to put stuff in containers in this game (mb thats why im so messy in real life). Most of the containers in the interiors inside towns are safe though some may be owned. I think essentially any container should be safe unless it is is scripted to reset i believe, which only the obvious ones are (i.e supply chests). if im wrong someone tell me. I do know that it is perfectly safe to leave things on the ground :s.

Someone may correct me, but I think MANY containers respawn.

Easiest way to check is UESP or pop an item in a chest you which to test (worthless item) and wait for three days (the respawn time).

Nope.
The only containers that respawn are the Guild chests (Mages and Fighters) but you cannot place items in them anyways.

Once you alter the contents of a container (add or remove anything,) the game remembers it forever, so this makes all containers safe to use, except it's best to avoid using containers with Ownership on them, otherwise your items will be considered stolen when you remove them.

To counter the blind effect, simply cast a custom resist magic 100% 1 sec on self and equip the boots before the spell wears off.
Positive effects are not resisted.

Since you already have 50% resist magicka, you only need 50% 1 sec.

For your storage problem: Simply find a convenient storage place (I like the mages guild early in game as my marked spot to recall to and use that)
and dump inexpensive items, like saltrice, on the spot you want one by one.
After a certain amount the cell gets 'full'and creates an overflow loot bag. anything that you drop in that cell from then on will go into it and it has unlimited storage capability. The number of items can be found on the UESP.
You will have to exit and enter the cell for it to appear.

If you want to display an item in a cell with an overflow lootbag simply place your items where you want them, save and reload.
That way they wont go into the bag.

Happy gaming :)
